County Representative Position Description

The most important qualification for joining Heritage Passage (HP)
as a county rep is
ENTHUSIASM!

We are looking for forward-thinking, positive individuals who are
passionate about arts, culture, heritage, agriculture, and growing
the creative economy in general in Northwest Wisconsin.

Tasks HP needs you to do

  • Be a cheerleader. Use both formal (print and electronic
media, clubs, etc.) and informal (conversations)
communication methods to promote HP, its "Handmade &
Homegrown" mission, and its arts, heritage, and ag members
    and their events

  • Be a resource. Disseminate information to artisans, growers,
and the pubic, especially local arts, heritage, and ag events

  • Be a conduit. Send all arts, ag, and heritage events
information to the HP Web site's Events Listings e-mail
    address by calling 715-635-4548

  • Be a recruiter. Recruit artists, growers, and heritage lovers
to become members of HP. Recruit passionate folks to
become HP county reps, too. Ideally, we need one art rep,
one ag rep, and one heritage rep for each county.

  • Be a speaker. Consider speaking to groups such as art
students, Kiwanis, Lions Club, and Rotary about the
importance of HP and the creative economy in Northwest
    Wisconsin.

  • Be a joiner. Get to know the HP Board by attending 4 or
more HP Board Meetings a year to report your county's
Handmade & Homegrown successes and needs.

If you are interested in arts, culture, heritage, and
growing, we are interested in you! Please join us at our
    next HP meeting.
